Brand Identity & Strategy
The Challenge
The client was struggling to find a visual identity that was simple enough to act as the founder’s daily driving force yet stand out
against intense game graphics. They needed a strategic partner capable of delivering a high-recall, founder-driven design that
clearly differentiates the brand from its competitors.
Bridge & Bloom’s mandate for this project was to utilize an unconventional design strategy that blended data-driven research
with founder-driven design principles.

️ The Unconventional Solution
We established early on that the logo’s primary audience is the founder, and it must serve as the brand’s constant driving force.
01. Strategic Alignment & Core Definition
Founder-Centric Positioning
We began with an in-depth Brand Positioning Document and
Competitive Landscape Analysis to deeply understand the
founder’s motivations and the user’s needs, defining the core
audience and market whitespace.
AI Validation with Gemini/Atypica.ai
We utilized advanced research tools like Atypica.ai validation
and Gemini for visual summary to cross-validate the
founder’s assumptions, creating an exhaustive report that
tightly focused our market vocabulary.
02. Experimental Visual Identity for Rapid Discovery
Modern Tools for Acceleration
Instead of relying solely on traditional methods, we used
modern tools to accelerate discovery and validate design
directions through data-driven insights.

Visual Discovery Process
Step 1:
Step 1: Stylescape Creation
Actionables – Gathered competitor, aspirational, and tangential visual references.
Outcome – Established three distinct visual directions: Cinematic Cyber-Gothic, Brutal Grids, and Deconstructed Engineering.
Step 2: AI Summarization
Actionables: Fed the initial visual ideas into an AI model
to ask it to summarize the collective mood.
Outcome: Instantly unlocked the crucial, guiding
aesthetic keyword: “Ancient Futurism,”
giving us immediate design direction.
Step 3: Constraint Setting
Actionables: Defined critical structural boundaries, such
as ensuring Equal Visual Hierarchy across
the all-caps wordmark.
Outcome: Ensured the final mark would be highly
differentiable and scalable across all
platforms.
The Result
From Complex Concepts to Custom Wordmark Typeface
The initial design exploration allowed us to quickly eliminate complex, over-detailed symbols and ornate, trend-driven designs. The clarity of the founder’s vision—that the brand mark must be simple, clear, and highly differentiable—brought us back to the fundamentals.
High Recall Value – The mark carries high aesthetic recall value and communicates the tech-forward, authoritative tone required by the brand.
Strategic Customization – We pivoted to a solution that focused on strategic customization of a simple mono-font, ensuring clarity and differentiation.
The Custom Fix – The mono-font presented visual ambiguity (D and O looked too similar) and required awkward spacing (D-I-O). We solved this with subtle serifs (extrusions) to the letter ‘D’ and refined the spacing to be visually balanced.
Final Outcome – A refined, geometric, and authoritative mark with high recall value that stands out in the Video Games & Entertainment landscape.
