Case Study: From a Website Brief to a Product Journey
How a PhonePe director, a former boss, and a quiet leap led Bridge & Bloom into the energy sector
A High-Voltage Beginning
Some projects come via portfolios.
Some come via pitches.
And some… take a longer route through life itself.
Ampera Energy is a startup led by veterans in the energy industry, building a powerful software product called AmpeX—an intelligent software for consumption analysis and Green Power savings.
But how did Bridge & Bloom get involved?
Let’s rewind to a small, almost serendipitous connection.

Old Friends, New Roads
Mayukh, one of Ampera’s founders, had a chat with his old college buddy—Ambrish, now Director of Product at PhonePe.
Ambrish gave Mayukh a simple piece of advice:
“You don’t need a vendor. You need a product person. Someone who can think with you.”
That’s when he thought of me.
A full circle moment—because once upon a time, I was Ambrish’s first graphic designer at his startup, Pragati Jobs.
Not long after joining, he offered me my first product manager role under his mentorship.
Cut to today—he sent me along to help build something new
First, the Website. Then, the World.
Our engagement began with redesigning the Ampera Energy website.
This wasn’t just a design brief. It was an invitation to learn—to understand their business, the product (AmpeX), and the massive system it would soon disrupt.
In the span of a couple of months:
✅ I absorbed the ins and outs of energy infra.
✅ I translated the tech-heavy vision into a story humans could understand.
✅ I designed the full website.
✅ I supported the third-party dev team to bring it to life.

From Branding to Product
The website wasn’t the end—it was the beginning.
The real work started when I stepped into AmpeX, Ampera’s flagship platform.
We’re talking:
- Aligning the product with real-world industry needs
- Collaborating on user journeys
- Designing flows that feel human, not corporate
- Balancing complexity with clarity
But most of all—building a long-term partnership rooted in trust.
Real Talk, Real Growth
One of the best things about working with Ampera is… honesty.
Especially with Prabhajeet, Ampera’s founder.
Our conversations aren’t just status updates. They’re exchanges of ideas, dreams, and often, quiet advice.
I’ve told him what I truly feel.
He’s responded with nothing but respect.
There are days I walk away from meetings thinking:
“When I grow a team of my own… I’ll remember how this felt.”

What Bridge & Bloom Really Does
This isn’t just a “we design websites” story.
It’s a story of entering a company with one need—and evolving into their thought partner.
Bridge & Bloom doesn’t sell fixed packages.
We don’t do “deliverables” for the sake of it.
We step in when something wants to grow.
And then, we figure out what it truly needs—be it brand clarity, UX sanity, storytelling, or even someone to just sit and think with you.
Our work with Ampera proves one thing:
We design with intention, but we build with trust.
Thinking about working together?
- You are a passion-driven Founder
- You have generated some revenue (preferably 1 Lac)
- Preferably bootstrapped
- Want a partner who gets both the poetry and the process
